COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE

OUR HISTORY

Since its formation in 2012, La Cosecha has fed thousands of New Mexicans healthy, locally- and organically- grown food through its uniquely modeled Community Supported Agriculture food share program.

OUR IMPACT

La Cosecha’s Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) food share program provides healthy and locally grown produce to low-income residents at half the price of competitive markets.

We optimize SNAP purchasing power and leverage the state’s ‘Double Up Food Bucks so that SNAP recipients can use SNAP benefits for healthy and local foods.

ABOUT US

La Cosecha, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with programs that address healthy food access through culturally grounded community-supported agriculture (CSA) seasonal distribution and nutrition education.

OUR MISSION

Creating a stronger local food system to ensure that low-income families have adequate and sustainable access to healthy and affordable food. We build self-sufficiency and community among local farmers and families, improve community health by increasing access to healthy, affordable, locally-grown food, and community-based nutrition education.
